In order to request the CEDULA ORDER, if you didn’t request it with your first temporary visa, or you lost your cedula or is damages, is, as follow.
- Request the appointment for the cedula order in the web page – Book here – es choosing the office you want to visit.
- Then, choose the ORDEN DE CEDULACION process
- Then pops-up the list of documents needed

- Wedding Certificate, apostilled and translated, if you have it.

- Passport copy

- Current visa copy (if you have the visa in an old/expired passport, you have to do the visa transfer first.

- Documents to probe that you still have the base of the visa you received, for example, if you are under a retired visa, you have to show the last SSA letter, translated and notarized here in Ecuador, no need to apostille or legalized in your original country.

- If you lost your cedula, you have to do a report of “lost document” in here https://appsj.funcionjudicial.gob.ec/documentosExtraviados/publico/formulario.jsf

- Immigration movement certificate updated, can be requested at the Immigration Police office, cost usd 5,57, and is valid for one month.

- Health Insurance, is no needed any more, but they didn’t remove the requirement from this list.
